Wedding dresses

This weekend I visited the 'Wedding dress' exhibition at the V&A. The exhibition traces the development of the traditional white wedding dress, exploring it's treatment over the decades by designers such as; Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix, Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano. The dresses on display were beautiful and gave myself and my bride to be friend Ashleigh some inspirational ideas. My favourite dresses were the two pre-war 1940's designs, one a prom style knee length dress and the other a very elegant, full length dress covered in vintage lace. I also admired the one 1920's Gatsby style wedding dress.
